Tape Measures

Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Tape Measures

Tape measures are useful for checking carton dimensions, measuring packaging materials and completing everyday warehouse, workshop and maintenance tasks. Insinc’s listed range includes standard and heavy-duty Matthews tape measures, both measuring up to 8 metres.

Each model features a 25mm-wide blade and is supplied in cartons of six units.

Standard or Heavy-Duty Tape Measure?

The standard yellow tape measure suits general measuring tasks around warehouses, offices and packing stations. The silver heavy-duty model provides an alternative for workplaces requiring a more robust measuring tool.

Both options offer an 8m measuring length, making them suitable for cartons, pallets, shelving, work areas and larger packaging materials.

Choosing the Right Tape Measure

Consider the required measuring length, blade width, durability and intended frequency of use. A wider 25mm blade may be easier to extend across larger items, but users should still avoid bending, twisting or allowing the blade to retract uncontrollably.

Both listed products are obsolete, so contact Insinc for current availability or suitable replacement tape measures.
