Abrasive pads and scourers help remove grease, burnt-on food, soap residue and stubborn dirt from compatible surfaces. Which Abrasive Pad Should You Choose?

White and blue pads are generally suited to lighter cleaning, while red and green options provide medium-duty scrubbing. Black pads are designed for tougher, heavy-duty cleaning tasks. However, colour systems can differ between product ranges, so always check the stated duty level.

Scouring sponges combine an absorbent sponge with an abrasive surface, while stainless-steel scourers suit demanding cleaning on compatible durable surfaces. Larger pads and rolls can be cut or fitted to suitable hand and floor-scrubbing tools.

Can Abrasive Pads Damage Surfaces?

Yes. Heavy-duty pads and stainless-steel scourers may scratch polished, coated, non-stick, plastic, glass or other delicate surfaces. Use a non-scratch sponge or light-duty white pad where surface protection is important.

Test the pad on an inconspicuous area before cleaning and use only the pressure required. Rinse reusable pads after use and replace them when they become clogged, damaged or excessively worn.
